An upper level low pressure trough ( shaded “U” shape with blue arrows) will keep the precipitation around as it slowly moves eastward toward us. A frontal system pushed through Oregon and we can look for a warm today and then a cold front will move in Saturday producing more rain. With all of the clouds Thursday it was near impossible to see the partial solar eclipse here in Eugene. Here is a look at it from various US locations from space.com.
