A strong upper level low (Shaded “U” shape with blue arrows) sent a frontal system into the Pacific Northwest.  The upper low will also move eastward and behind it our airflow will be coming straight off the Pacific Ocean bringing plenty of moisture our way. Then we can look forward to a series of frontal systems heading our way.
