An upper level high (Shaded “Arch” shape with blue arrows) is bringing cooler air down from the north and with mostly clear to clear skies overnight it will get down to the coldest temperatures so far this fall. A frontal system is bringing clouds and precipitation that will begin by tonight. The coldest air from the North will penetrate the northern reaches of Oregon as this frontal system moves through.
