An upper level high pressure ridge  (Shaded “Arch” shape with blue arrows) continues to move eastward and behind it is a strong trough of low pressure (Shaded “U” shape with blue arrows) that will keep us in turbulent weather for a while. A cold front will move into the Pacific Northwest between now and Friday AM.  Another stronger frontal system will drop down through Oregon between Friday night and Saturday adding even more moisture.
