An upper level high pressure ridge  (Shaded “Arch” shape with blue arrows) continues to send cold air south to Oregon. A warm front is moving northward through the Pacific Northwest from the south. That allowed warmer air to overrun the colder air at the surface giving us the chance of freezing rain this morning. As temperatures continue to warm up we’ll have rain the rest of today and tonight.
