An upper level High Pressure ridge (the “arch” shaped portion of the yellow lines) is slowly moving away from us. A trough of low pressure is slidding down from the Gulf of Alaska and it will move eastward just to the north of us. That will increase the onshore airflow and cool us off some more . A cold front will drop down from the northwest mid to late in the week and it looks like it will have little or no effect.
