A strong upper level trough of low pressure sent a frontal system through Oregon Wednesday. The result was clouds and increasing chances of rain. Another frontal system (seen approaching the coast from the southwest on the previous graphic) will move in between today and Friday. Another frontal system will approach Sunday. Add those up and you get a lot of rainy days to come.

• A HEALTH ADVISORY CONTINUES FOR THE PRESENCE OF BLUE-GREEN ALGAE AT LOST CREEK LAKE , LOCATED 30 MILES NORTHEAST OF MEDFORD ON THE ROGUE RIVER IN JACKSON COUNTY AND AT DEVILS LAKE IN LINCOLN COUNTY. THE TOXIC ALGAE BLOOM MEANS THAT PEOPLE SHOULD NOT DRINK OR HAVE DIRECT CONTACT WITH THE AFFECTED WATER AND THAT ALSO GOES FOR ANY PETS.
