An upper level High Pressure ridge (the “arch” shaped portion of the yellow lines) is slowly moving away from us. A trough of low pressure ( “U” shaped area) is sliding down from the Gulf of Alaska and moving eastward just to the north of us. A weak cold front brought cooler temperatures and a few morning sprinkles Monday. Another weak cold front will drop down from the northwest by Thursday, but it looks like it will have little or no effect.
