Here’s my weekly weather quiz. This is more of a “fun” weather question. In the 1933 H. G.  Wells fantasy movie “The Invisible Man” (one of my favorite movies), Claude Rains is a mad scientist who wreaks havoc on a small British village until what weather event leads to his capture? Please place your answer as a comment after the forecasts on this page. The first person to post the correct answer will win a week of free personalized weather forecasts tailored to your needs. Good luck.
_______________

The combination of an upper level trough of low pressure (the “U” shaped dip in the yellow line) and surface high pressure are combining to give us onshore airflow which is cool. The upper low will be replaced by high pressure that will change the airflow to offshore by midweek and that will start to warm us back up. A weak cold front will cool things off a bit Friday, but it should stay dry.
