The jet stream is sending storms with a lot of moisture straight at us from over the Pacific Ocean. A cold front sent a lot of rain ahead of and along it and after a short space the next one is going to follow the same path. Another frontal system (position shown is Monday) will approach the the Pacific Northwest Sunday night into Monday increasing our chances for rain and wind again. Note: Willamette Pass, Hoodoo, and Mt. Ashland are all still closed for now. They say they will be opening again when enough snow falls. Check their websites for conditions and specific schedules.
