warm front moved through beginning a warming trend. It brought us just a few scattered showers. An upper level high pressure ridge (Shaded “Arch” shape with blue arrows) is taking over drying us out and warming us up. Note: The Oregon Cascades did receive 6 inches or more of snowfall in this most recent storm, but that didn’t change the local ski conditions. Mt. Ashland is closed now waiting for more snow. They will open one last time this season on next Saturday March 28th, snow or now snow, for their “Big Mountain Bash.” Willamette Pass and Hoodoo have officially announced that this ski season is over for both of them.
