An upper level trough of low pressure (the little “U” shaped dip in the yellow jet stream line is moving Eastward with a high pressure ridge (“Arch” shape) right behind it.  That means heat from Eastern Oregon will be pushed our way heating us up rapidly, but it won’t last very long. A cool front will slide in Sunday to cool us back down.
