An upper level trough of low pressure (Shaded “U” shape with blue arrows) is moving to the east away from us while high pressure (Shaded “Arch” shape in blue arrows) gives us a short break until the next upper low moves in.  A frontal system is bringing us more rain. Another frontal system moves in for a wet weekend by the look of this map.
