_______________

An upper level trough of low pressure (the little “U” shaped dip in the yellow jet stream line has moved Eastward with a high pressure ridge (“Arch” shape) right behind it. Heat from Eastern Oregon is being pushed our way and will heat us up rapidly today and Sunday, but it won’t last very long. A week upper level trough will dip our way along with a weak cold front from Canada (see blue line with triangles on it) to cool us back down. We could certainly use the moisture, but it’s just not out there for us. There may be some thunderstorms, but they might even start fires in the forests.
