More highs in the mid 90s today, but the workweek will cool off and hang around normal temperatures for the season.  An upper level low pressure (the little “U” shaped dip in the yellow jet stream line has moved Eastward with a high pressure ridge (“Arch” shape) right behind it. Heat from Eastern Oregon is being pushed our way and will continue to heat us up again today, but it won’t last very long. A weak upper level trough will dip our way along with a weak cold front from Canada (see blue line with triangles on it) to cool us back down, at least back to the 80s. We could certainly use some moisture, but it’s just not out there for us. There may be some thunderstorms, but they might even start fires in the forests.
