The first in a series of cold fronts has brought rainy weather back to the Pacific Northwest. A large trough of Low Pressure (shaded area) is set up to keep sending these fronts our way.

Look for mostly cloudy skies and rain today with the high at 62. Rain will be likely late tonight then a 50% chance of rain for Thursday. More storm systems will give us the chance of rain for the weekend into early next week with highs from 60-65 except for mid to upper 60s Thursday and Friday. The coast will be similar to the Willamette Valley while Roseburg will be a bit warmer Thursday and Friday.

Don’t forget this week’s weather quiz. What is the driest continent? Please place your answer in the comments section. The first person to post the correct answer will win one week of free weather forecasts to suit your needs. Good luck.
