Tim Chuey Weather

Here is my weekly weather quiz question again. Where in the world do they have the most days of thunderstorms in a calendar year? Again, extra congratulation points if you can give the number of thunderstorms there per year. Please place your answer as a comment after the forecasts and the first person to post the correct answer will win one week of free personalized weather forecasts tailored to your needs. Good luck.

______________

A weak upper level low pressure trough (the  “U” shaped dip in the yellow jet stream line) is going to stay positioned offshore for a while and that will keep our temperatures in a more comfortable range.  There will still be a slight chance of  mountain thunderstorms through Friday evening. The trough will start moving eastward and by early next week high pressure will start to build in behind it.

Advisories: NONE AT THIS TIME.
