A high pressure ridge (Shaded “Arch” shape in blue arrows) will be getting stronger to our west and moving right over us. The high will trap the hot air over the Pacific Northwest producing possibly the hottest temperatures so far this year. There will be a slight chance of thunderstorms at the peak of the heating Friday through the weekend.
