Here is my weekly weather quiz question. What is the wettest place in the world? An extra cheer for you if you can tell me the average rainfall there. Please post your answer as a comment after the forecasts. The first person to post the correct answer will win a week of free personalized weather forecasts tailored to your needs. Good luck.

______________

An upper level low over Eastern Oregon that has been keeping us in the onshore air flow is moving to the East. High pressure will start to build up giving us offshore flow and warming us up quite a bit Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Another trough of low pressure will move in Monday to Tuesday cooling us back down again. There is still smoke high in the atmosphere over us from Canadian fires. So far that smoke has not come down to the surface. Smoke is still collecting over the Deschutes National Forest near Sisters and could slowly move toward us if and when the offshore airflow returns pushing the smoke from East to West.
