An upper level High Pressure ridge has been building up (See the “Arch” shaped area from the Gulf of Alaska to Idaho) giving us offshore flow and warming us up again Monday. A weak trough will swing through Northern California cooling temps. quite a bit today, then high pressure strengthens warming back up Monday. A trough of low pressure will develop and move toward us next week with a cold front moving through Oregon between Thursday and Friday that will be cooling us back down again. There is still smoke over the Deschutes National Forest near Sisters and could slowly move toward us due to the offshore airflow pushing the smoke from East to West because of the high pressure over us now.
