Here is my weekly weather quiz question.  What location in the world set the record for the most snowfall in one season? Extra congratulations if you know the total snowfall measured and when it occurred. Please post your answer as a comment after the forecasts. The first person to post the correct answer will win a week of free personalized weather forecasts tailored to your needs. Good luck.

______________

An upper level High Pressure ridge has weakened (See the “Arch” shaped area) and moved to the East.  A trough of low pressure is moving toward us (See “U” shape ) and another low moved through Southern Oregon and Northern California yesterday producing some thunderstorms. Even if you didn’t have a thunderstorm over you the temperature has dropped significantly. A cold front (Position on Saturday AM) will be moving through Oregon between Thursday and Friday. All of those combine to produce cooler weather with increased onshore airflow over the Pacific Northwest.

Advisories:  NONE AT THIS TIME.
