A trough of low pressure is moving toward us (See “U” shape ) and that means the cooler weather will remain with us for a while longer.  Weak high pressure will warm us up a little early next week then a cold front will be moving through Oregon next Wednesday to bring temperatures back down again.

Forecast for the Southern and lower Mid Willamette Valley including Eugene-Springfield and Albany-Corvallis:  Mostly clear tonight, mostly sunny and a bit cooler Friday, mostly clear Friday evening, and mostly cloudy at night, AM clouds then a mix of clouds and sun and cooler Saturday and Sunday, partly cloudy Saturday evening and mostly cloudy at night lows 45-47 highs 79-74. Partly cloudy Sunday night,  mostly sunny and warmer Monday and Tuesday  and cooler Wednesday with mostly clear skies Monday night and Tuesday night, and a mix of clouds and sun and cooler Thursday lows 46-52 highs 84-90-80-76. (seasonal averages high 82 low 51)

Forecast for the Umpqua Basin including, Roseburg: Clear this evening, then partly cloudy tonight and Friday AM, sunny Friday afternoon, clear in the evening, mostly cloudy Friday night and Saturday AM, partly cloudy and cooler Saturday afternoon and evening, and mostly cloudy Saturday night and Sunday AM lows 55-49 highs 83-75. Partly cloudy Sunday afternoon and evening and clearing late at night high 74 low 50.
