Here is my weekly weather quiz question for the last time. What is “Zulu Time?” Here is the correct answer. Zulu (Z) Time is for practical purposes, the same as Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). The notation formerly used to identify time Greenwich MeanTime. The word “Zulu” is notation in the phonetic alphabet corresponding to the letter “Z” assigned to the time zone on the Greenwich Prime Meridian. Please remember to post your answer as a comment by clicking on “no comments /comments” in the upper right hand portion of this page under the caption, then add your comment. The first person to post the correct answer will win a week of free personalized weather forecasts tailored to your needs. The answer has to be a comment to win. An email answer will not count. Good luck.

An upper level low is moving into and through California and returned clouds and a few showers because of the southerly airflow. A frontal system (approaching the coast) will hit the coast today and this time there will be a better chance of getting wet today through Sunday. Remember, Daylight Saving Time officially ends and Standard Time returns at 2:00 am Sunday November 1st (Or at Bedtime Saturday October 31st, Halloween).
