Low pressure (“Shaded “U” shape with blue arrows) returns with rain.  A frontal system is moving through the Pacific Northwest. The warm front moved in today and will be followed by the cold front Saturday. Sorry, but Halloween will be quite wet. Remember, Daylight Saving Time officially ends and Standard Time returns this weekend at 2:00 am Sunday November 1st (Or at Bedtime Saturday October 31st, Halloween). Turn your clocks BACK one hour. Remember the Fire Department recommends that you check the batteries in your smoke alarms, CO2 detectors, and Raydon detectors to make sure they still work. Change them if necessary.

• A HEALTH ADVISORY CONTINUES FOR SUNSET BAY STATE PARK BEACH LOCATED IN COOS COUNTY FOR HIGHER-THAN-NORMAL FECAL BACTERIA WHICH CAN RESULT IN DIARRHEA, STOMACH CRAMPS, SKIN RASHES, UPPER RESPIRATORY INFECTIONS AND OTHER ILLNESSES. DIRECT CONTACT WITH THE WATER – ESPECIALLY BY CHILDREN AND THE ELDERLY, WHO MAY BE VULNERABLE TO WATERBORNE BACTERIA – SHOULD BE AVOIDED IN THIS AREA UNTIL THE ADVISORY IS LIFTED.
