An upper level low (Shaded “U” shape with blue arrows) is replacing the high continuing the wet weather pattern through the Pacific Northwest. The low has pushed a frontal system down at us from the northwest. Behind that front is cold Canadian air that will give us the coldest temperatures of the season so far. That also means that mountain snow levels will be dropping below the passes. So far, no snow is expected in or very near to the valley floors.
