A blocking high pressure ridge (Shaded “Arch” shaped with blue arrows) is going to weaken and move away allowing low pressure (Shaded “U” shape with blue arrows to take over. A weak frontal system is on its way into Oregon today bringing back the chance of rain or snow and possible freezing rain. It will be  followed by another stronger frontal system Thursday, then yet another frontal system next Monday.
