A trough of low pressure is moving eastward away from Oregon (See “U” shape ) and another cold front is sliding southward through the area providing much needed rain. The rain will dry up and weak high pressure will slowly start to warm us back up again quickly by late in the week to maybe be our last very warm day (Friday) of the season and then a cold front will move in Saturday to cool us down again.

Advisories: NONE AT THIS TIME. Please note the following: ODOT has reopened OR 242, the historic McKenzie Highway to the public. The highway was closed as it was being used heavily by firefighters and equipment associated with the Scott Mountain Fire, approximately six miles north of OR 242.
