An upper level ridge of high pressure (Shaded “Arch” shape with blue arrows) took over to keep the rain away from us, but that will soon change.  Some fairly weak storms will add clouds and showers to the mix. A new frontal system is poised to move in which will bring the chance of rain back. Here is another frontal system shown moving toward Oregon Friday morning which means more showery weather. Sunday will see yet another frontal system setting up to move into the Pacific Northwest.
