An upper level high pressure ridge (Shaded “Arch” shape with blue arrows) is getting stronger and moved over us for a warmup to what should have been record high temperatures for Eugene. As it turns out both Roseburg and North Bend set record highs Sunday, but Eugene did not. That may change today. Between Tuesday night and Wednesday a complex frontal system moves onshore bringing showers and possible thunderstorms with it. As you can see another frontal system is on the Pacific Coast Friday bringing cooler temperatures and the chance of showers.
