Another upper level high pressure ridge (Shaded “Arch” shape with blue arrows) has cleared the skies for a while. A frontal system approaching the West Coast will weaken but still bring us a chance of rain by tonight.  Friday shows a frontal system moving through the Pacific Northwest bringing more shower chances. By the end of the weekend another frontal system will be approaching from the northwest probably making landfall sometime late Sunday or Monday.
