More sunshine as High Pressure (“Arch” shape with blue arrows) continues to keep us warm and dry. It seems the next frontal system that moves through the Pacific Northwest will wash out bring only a few more clouds with almost no noticeable difference in our weather. Looks like some typical Oregon Summertime sunny and dry weather for the Long Independence Day weekend and the 2016 Olympic Team Trials that run through July 10th at Hayward Field.
Note: Please consider your neighbors when discharging fireworks, which by statute in Eugene should only be used on Monday the 4th. Also, be very careful to put out all spent fireworks to prevent accidental fires. If possible, keep pets indoors to lessen the jarring boom of mainly the illegal fireworks.
