A weakening area of High Pressure (Shaded “Arch” shape with blue arrows) will keep us dry and in sunshine today and  Wednesday.  Upper level Low Pressure (Shaded “U” shape with blue arrows) gives us the impetus for a change in our weather pattern. A frontal system is shown approaching the coast on Friday. There’s another cause for increased rain chances. Take a look at the frontal system that will be moving through the Pacific Northwest a week from today. The 2016 Olympic Team Trials that run through next Sunday July 10th at Hayward Field will encounter at least a chance of showers, as you can see in the forecast, from Thursday through the rest of the trials.
