Showers will be likely this morning increasing to rain in the afternoon with a slight chance of a thunderstorm the high 54 and low 40. Sunday (slight chance of showers) then just mostly cloudy at night . Sunday’s high will be 54 with a low of 38. A new cold front will move in for Monday for rain which will be likely (60% chance) at night high 52 low 43. Showers will be likely Tuesday and Tuesday night high 50 low 40. Wednesday, Veterans Day, there will be a 40% chance of showers with the high 50 and the a chance of showers for Thursday and Friday.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR THE CASCADES UNTIL 10 PM tonight (Saturday). The snow level will be below pass levels at 3,500′ today (6-10″ snow), 3,500″ tonight (5-8″ snow).  Sunday rising from 3,500′-4,000′. It’s back to rain Monday as the snow level rises to 6,000′ then 4,000′ Monday night. Snow levels drop Tuesday from 4,000′-3,500’and stay there through Wednesday night and stay below pass levels through Friday.  Serious news for travelers, but great news for skiers as we get closer to the ski season which might just start around Thanksgiving if this keeps up.

No weather problems for the Ducks or Beavers since both play in California where temperatures will be in the mid to upper 60s.
