An upper level high pressure ridge (Shaded “Arch” Shape with blue arrows) has taken over and will seriously warm us up late in the week into Saturday. A backdoor frontal system (meaning it’s moving from the northeast to the southwest) holding down the temperature a bit today.  A warm front (line of red semicircles that was the cold front that backed in) pushes back eastward between Friday and Saturday pushing up the temperatures to at least near-record highs. Upper level low pressure Starts to take over early next week and a cold front looks like it will move through the Pacific Northwest next Monday and that might just cool us down a bit.
