An upper level high pressure ridge (Shaded “Arch” Shape with blue arrows) has taken over and is seriously warming us up for the rest of the week into Saturday.  Look for record high temperatures particularly in Eugene and Roseburg. Upper level low pressure (Shaded “U” shape with blue arrows) starts to take over early next week and a cold front will move through the Pacific Northwest next Monday and that should cool us down a bit, but not for very long as high pressure takes over again by midweek.
