_______________
Here again is my new weekly weather quiz question. Nine people have died and 11 were injured in the state of Oregon from 1887 to 1995 due to what kind of weather events? Please place your answer as a comment after the forecasts on this page. The first person to post the correct answer will win a week of free personalized weather forecasts tailored to your needs. Good luck.
_______________
A high pressure ridge (“Arch” shape over the Pacific Northwest) will warm us up for today then an upper level low (“U” shaped area in the jet stream) will slide in behind the ridge. Look for a very weak cold front (position shown on Friday) to roll across Oregon on Thursday bringing back a slight chance of precipitation. A definite cooling trend as we move through the middle of October.
