An upper level upper level High Pressure ridge (“Arch” shaped area) will strengthen and keep us dry for a little while longer. An upper level trough of low pressure (the “U” shaped  area over the Gulf of Alaska) will start changing our weather and help send a cold front our way Thursday. That’s when the rain will return.
