With more heavy rain possible Monday the three-day total could be between two and three inches of rain. The coast and particularly the mountains could see much heavier amounts of rainfall. Be particularly watchful if you leave near a creek, stream, or river as the levels could rise rapidly with sustained moderate to heavy rainfall.

An upper level upper level High Pressure ridge (“Arch” shaped area) is moving eastward away from us. An upper level trough of low pressure (the “U” shaped  area stretching down from over the Gulf of Alaska) is starting to change our weather and help send moisture with a cold front that passed through Oregon. The next frontal system will hit us with possibly heavy amounts of rain Saturday and Sunday and some strong winds too. Another frontal system will push through Oregon Thursday.
