An Upper level High (Shaded “Arch” shape with blue arrows) to our Northwest is sending cold air down to us from Canada. Low pressure to the South combines to return the moisture to Oregon by late Friday. The days 1-3 graphic shows  surface low and frontal system that is moving Southward along the Pacific Coast and then inland well to our South by Wednesday giving us the short break from the precipitation chances. The graphic for days 3-7 shows the break from storms Thursday and most of Friday. Then more frontal systems that will be headed our way late Friday into Saturday and again Monday.  For mountain snow conditions at the local ski areas check out their websites or give them a call.
