The Upper level low pressure (Shaded “U” shape with blue arrows) that send moisture our way and its associated surface system are being replaced for a short time by high pressure.  The days 1-3 graphic shows the surface lows and frontal systems that tried to bring rain and snow to us. Other parts of the Pacific Northwest specifically to our North (15.5 in. of snow at Portland West Hills/Forest Heights.) did see the snow, but not in the South Willamette Valley. The graphic for days 3-7 shows no slowdown in frontal systems that will be headed our way through next week. For mountain snow conditions at the local ski areas check out their websites or give them a call.
