Here is my new weekly weather quiz question. This is a technical question. What has a “Sling Psychrometer” been used for in weather prediction? Please place your answer as a comment after the forecasts at the bottom of this page. The first person to post the correct answer will win a week of free weather personalized forecasts tailored to your needs. Good luck.
______________
A warm front has increased our temperatures a bit today and a weak cold front behind it is headed our way. An upper level High Pressure ridge (“Arch” shaped shaded area) will build up and protect us from any storms for a while. Another large trough of low pressure (“U” shaded area over the ocean) will come in behind the ridge by late in the week. A cold front will be moving through the Pacific Northwest Friday bringing back more wet weather.
