An Upper Level Low Pressure Trough (Shaded “U” shape with blue arrows) is controlling our weather for the foreseeable future. The graphic for days 1-3 shows the next fronts that bring back the freezing Winter precipitation for a short time. Watch out for the potentially slippery roads. The graphic for days 3-7 shows very active frontal systems heading our way next week. For mountain snow conditions at the local ski areas check out their websites or give them a call. Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow at Gobbler’s Knob, about 2 miles outside of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania this morning predicting 6 more weeks of Winter.
