An Upper Level Low Pressure Trough (Shaded “U” shape with blue arrows) is controlling our weather for the foreseeable future. The graphic for days 1-3 shows the complex frontal system that moved through the Pacific Northwest bringing rain and then snow. The worst of the storm struck from Salem North through Portland. Next the temperatures fall behind the cold front. A record 1.14 inches of rain fell Sunday in Eugene. The graphic for days 3-7 shows another very active complex frontal system heading our way by late next week. For mountain snow conditions at the local ski areas check out their websites or give them a call.
