An Upper Level Low Pressure Trough (Shaded “U” shape with blue arrows) is controlling our weather for the near future. The graphic for days 1-3 shows the complex frontal system moving through the Pacific Northwest bringing more rain. Upper level HighPressure and surface high pressure combine to bring sunshine and dry us out. The graphic for days 3-7 shows that high pressure taking over for the weekend into the middle of next week keeping us dry for a while. The next frontal system to attempt to bring us rain will arrive between next Wednesday and Thursday. For mountain snow conditions at the local ski areas check out their websites or give them a call.
