An upper level High Pressure ridge (“Arch” shaped shaded area) has build up to protect us from any storms for a short while. Another large trough of low pressure trough (“U” shaded area over the ocean) will come in behind the ridge  by late in the week. A cold front will be moving through the Pacific Northwest Friday and Friday night (position shown on Saturday) with another behind it bringing back more wet weather. Yet another frontal system will march through on Wednesday.
