An upper level High Pressure ridge (“Arch” shaped shaded area) has build up to protect us from any storms for a short while. Another large trough of low pressure trough (“U” shaded area over the ocean) will come in behind the ridge as we enter the weekend. A weak cold front will be moving through the Pacific Northwest Friday with another stronger frontal system behind it Saturday bringing back more wet weather.
