Don’t forget to turn your clocks back one hour (Fall Back) at bedtime Saturday night (2 AM Sunday to be precise) as we leave Daylight Saving Time and return to Standard Time. Also, check the batteries in your smoke alarms and change them if necessary.

An upper level High Pressure ridge (“Arch” shaped shaded area) is moving Eastward away from us. A large trough of low pressure trough (“U” shaded area over the ocean) is coming in behind the ridge. A weak frontal system is trying to move through the Pacific Northwest, but it will fall apart and only bring clouds. Another stronger storm system behind it (see surface low off California with trailing cold front) will be pushed inland by the upper level trough by late Saturday bringing back more wet and cooler weather.
