Here is my weekly weather quiz question for the last time. What is “Apparent Temperature?” Here is the correct answer. Apparent Temperature is a measure of human discomfort due to combined heat and humidity (e.g., heat index). I’ll have a new weekly weather quiz question for you starting Monday. Please remember to post your answer at the bottom of this page. The first person to post the correct answer will win a week of free personalized weather forecasts tailored to your needs. Good luck.

An Upper Level Low Pressure Trough (Shaded “U” shape with blue arrows) is replacing the weak high that gave us the sunshine. The graphic for days 1-3 shows the next frontal system moving toward Oregon. The graphic for days 3-7 shows a series of frontal systems that will keep our weather active through next Friday. For mountain snow conditions at the local ski areas check out their websites or give them a call.
*Note: Don’t forget to Spring ahead and turn your clock ahead at bedtime tonight (officially 2 am Sunday). Also, check the batteries in your smoke alarm, CO2 alarm, and Radon detector if you have them. Replace batteries as needed.
