An Upper Level Low Pressure Trough (Shaded “U” shape with blue arrows) takes control of our weather again. A short-lived upper level ridge of high pressure (Shaded “Arch” shape with blue arrows on previous graphic) will take over long enough to give us sunshine for Sunday. The graphic for days 1-3 shows the front that is moving toward Oregon that should hit us by Saturday morning. Of course, rain will be falling ahead of the frontal system. The graphic for days 3-7 shows the next complex frontal system that will be moving through the Pacific Northwest next Tuesday. You can see the break as surface high pressure takes over Sunday.  For mountain snow conditions at the local ski areas check out their websites or give them a call.
