Here is my weekly weather quiz question for the last time. What is “An Arroyo?” Here is the correct answer. An Arroyo is in hydrologic terms, a water-carved channel or gully in arid country, usually rather small with steep banks, dry most of the time, due to infrequent rainfall and the shallowness of the cut which does not penetrate below the level of permanent ground water. I’ll have a new weekly weather quiz question for you starting Monday. The first person to post the correct answer will win a week of free personalized weather forecasts tailored to your needs. Good luck.
